Please welcome Deaconess Sandra Rhein, Sacred Music Educator and Missionary to Taiwan, who will be here to share with us between the 9:00 and 10:30 services on Sunday, April 18. She will also be sharing her musical talent with Dan during the services. Deaconess Sandra will be speaking with the school children on Friday, April 16.

Receiving the Sacrament of Holy Baptism during Chapel on Wednesday, April 21 are Braden Joseph Fisher and Dylan Robert Fisher, children of Grant and Liana Fisher and students of our Christian Academy. Braden and Dylan's Godparents are Kelly Cwik and Grant Folkestad. The Fisher family will be attending our New Member Seminar on April 25th. All women are invited to the Lake Minnetonka LWML Zone LWML Spring Rally Celebration on Saturday, April 17 from 9:00-11:00am at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 115 Wayzata Blvd West in Wayzata. Nader Alaraj from POBLO International (People of the Book Lutheran Outreach) will be presenting:
“International Friendship Center: A new vision for 2021.” The suggested registration is $5 (first timers are free). A free will offering will be taken for District Mission Grants. Camp Omega is coming to Redeemer!

Grades (going into) 1st - 6th
A little information about Camp Omega Traveling Day Camp (VBS)
Kids will be separated into 'pods' according to age/grade. Each pod will max out at 10 kids.
In order for VBS to be successful, we will need some adult (over age 18) volunteers.
- There will be up to 4 college-age counselors coming from Camp Omega and they put on the whole program! They are trained to work with grades 1-6, they have lots of energy and a huge love for Jesus. We will need at least one (preferably two or more) host homes - a place for them to eat supper and a place to sleep at night, grab a shower, etc.
- The children will bring their lunch, but we could use some help to feed the counselors, donate a lunch or gift card to a local restaurant, bring snacks, and help clean up after lunch.
- Help with registration - especially the first day of camp - help get the kids checked in and settled into their age-appropriate pod.
- Be an extra pair of hands in a pod - we need at least one adult volunteer per pod.
