Thanks to the generosity of Nelsonville Lutheran Church and Peace Lutheran Church in Amherst, WI - and now joined by incredible congregations across the country - all congregational gifts given through Lutheran World Relief will be doubled - up to $422,000! Help provide food, shelter, and emergency funds for refugees impacted by the Ukraine crisis. Mission quilts and Personal Care Kits are already pre-positioned in a warehouse in Dubai and will soon reach Ukrainian families who have fled for safety.

FINAL SERVICE PROJECT COMING SOON!
Redeemer’s last service project for this spring will be held on Wednesday evening, March 30th, at 6 p.m. We will be packing Voice of the Martyrs Action Packs, bags filled with necessities for persecuted Christians in Sudan, Pakistan, and Iraq. Many of these Christians have been driven from their home or trapped in oppressive circumstances as a result of their faith in Christ.
ITEMS TO DONATE BY MARCH 30TH (all brand-new):
a. Heavy-duty tarp (preferably light-colored, 8’ x 10’ or larger)
b. Pack of zip ties (preferably 11” or longer)
c. Small blanket (polyester “fleece” or similar)
d. Twin-size (flat) bedsheet
e. Bar of soap
f. Foam/sponge ball (children’s toy)
OPTIONAL ITEMS
a. A photo of you, your family, or your group. You may include an encouraging Scripture reference on the back, but please do not provide your name(s) or other information.

The Drive for Five! — Last fall, members and friends of Redeemer hand-delivered over 5,000 brochures to the doorsteps of our community, inviting them to experience Redeemer Lutheran Church. They worked! People have walked through our doors because of those brochures. Starting Sunday, March 6th, we will be delivering more brochures as we build to the great celebration of Easter on Sunday, April 17th. Our goal is to deliver another 5,000 in the five weeks between March 6th and April 10th. Thank you for delivering the first time around. Get ready for round 2! If you have not had an opportunity to be part of this experience, please prayerfully consider taking part in the Great Commission of making disciples by delivering these wonderful brochures. Volunteer now to deliver brochures in these last weeks before Easter. Maps of neighborhoods and brochures are available in the transept after church services.

Redeemer Christian Academy students are participating in a Read-A-Thon! Students have set reading goals individually and as classrooms to help raise money to support their school. Calling all Crocheters/Knitters:
The Redeemer LWML (Lutheran Women in Mission) has started their annual Baby Cap Drive. They will be accepting baby caps through March 31. There is a display in the hallway and patterns for sizes preemie to large. There is also a collection tub by the display for completed caps. These baby caps will be donated to Children's Hospital. You are Invited to participate in an online Respite and Companion Care workshop on March 26, 2022, presented by Voice of Care and made possible in part by a grant from The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Minnesota South District. The workshop, Set to Serve: Respite and Companion Care, will be offered from 1 to 5 p.m. (Central) and will equip participants with the necessary techniques and skills for safe, effective caregiving and the confidence to offer respite and relief to families of people with special needs. Starts New Study in April
Beginning on the first Wednesday in April, the Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study will start a new study: “Who Is the Holy Spirit?” This 6-week study will reveal to us who the Holy Spirit is, what He does, and what life is like when He lives within you. We invite you to join us as we discover the Helper who is always there for us – The Holy Spirit – who works in perfect harmony with God the Father and Jesus the Son.
