SPECIAL VOTERS' MEETING has been called for Tuesday, May 02, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. Come at 5:30 p.m. and enjoy a meal of Charlotte Penn's famous Sloppy Joes!
The purpose of the meeting is to review and approve a new Redeemer constitution. Our current constitution requires a majority of Redeemer's voting members to be present for the vote to be valid. It is critical that all voting members attend this meeting to provide your input and cast your vote.
A committee including Pastor Steve, Deaconess Kris, Nancy Lamo, Natalie Raabe, Michael Fasching, and Steven Swanlund met regularly for nine months to draft the new constitution document which is based on The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod guidelines.
Copies of the draft constitution are being made available to all voting members for your review.
Restroom Project Update
The upper-level restroom project is nearing completion with electrical work and the new drinking fountain installation remaining. Due to supplier delays, temporary doors have been installed with the new doors expected to be installed late May. Use of these updated restrooms should resume no later than April 21. The lower-level restroom update will continue with demolition work to begin Friday and Saturday, April 21 and 22. Redeemer Church and Academy Work Day-Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 6, and plans to come and spend half a day on our building and grounds. Your help is needed and greatly appreciated. Bible Study for Fathers of Boys | Raising a Modern Day Knight is a new Bible study opportunity for fathers who want to see their son’s become men. Led by Gordy Engel, a former Redeemer parent and proud grandfather to four Redeemer students, aims to provide guidance and encouragement to fathers of boys. There is no charge to participate. If you are interested in joining the study, IT’S NOT TOO LATE! You can get a glimpse of this study by watching the first video. Bible Study sessions are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 via zoom to make it easier to fit into your busy schedule. Here is the zoom link to join.
